Asian markets rallied, led by the Nikkei 225 surging 2.85%. European indices gained across the board, with the AEX up 1.26%, DAX +0.48% and CAC 40 +0.77%. US indices were nearly flat with the S&P 500 up 0.13% and Nasdaq +0.03%. Crypto markets fell sharply β Bitcoin dropped toward β¬57,088 (-6.02%) and Ethereum slid to around β¬1,590 (-7.24%). European government bond yields eased, with the Italy BTP 10Y falling 0.07pp to 3.69%. Brent crude rose to near $97 per barrel (+1.19%) and gold traded around $4,498/oz (+0.21%).
